Bhopal, January 22: ‘Dangal’ strived to be success at the box-office and also on national platform. After Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand now Madhya Pradesh too joined the list where the movie ‘Dangal’ has been declared as ‘tax-free’. This was done to entertain more and more viewers to watch and get encouraged towards sports.
The State Government announced that it will set up an academy to promote wrestling. Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan made announcements where this movie is declared’tax-free’ and the ‘setting up of an wrestling academy’. Sports drama ‘Dangla’ which is based on the life of Harayana wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat tweeted Madhya Pradesh government saying that “To promote wrestling an academy will be set up in Madhya Pradesh.”
Dangal- was released on 13th December, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, proved to be one of the super-duper hit movies crossing Rs.300 Crores. Also this film is doing well on international platforms. The movie casts includes Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Girish Kulkarni, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar in important roles. The film won many Filmfare Awards. This movie broke the records of ‘P.K’ movie which collected Rs.340 crores and this film went on to collect Rs. 376 crores till date. Salman Khan starrer Sultan collected Rs 300.45 crore.
“The movie is very inspiring, which shows daughters are not less strong than the sons. We should take a lesson from this film,” Chief Minister Raghubar Das said and announced Dangal- as taxfree after watching the movie with Cabinet ministers and legislators.
