BJP’s Punjab Manifesto promises free education till PhD for girls from economically weaker sections

Amritsar, January 22: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley released Bhartiya Janta Party’s manifesto today for upcoming Punjab Assembly Elections which are to be held on 4th of February in Jalandhar. Arun Jaitley spoke on various measures for the welfare of the society which specifically highlighted the expansion of developmental activities.
In Jalandhar during the Press Conference, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley released the party’s manifesto for Punjab in the presence of Punjab BJP’s alliance Shiromani Akali Dal SAD.During the Press Conference, Jaitley said that the major focus will be to implement Goods and Services Tax (GST) from July 1. BJP’s alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will continue like before and we will further expand developmental activities if given another term.

Jaitley said that “Free education till PhD will be given to girls belonging to economically weaker sections. Job for every family will be taken care of.” BJP’s Manifesto promises to employ people of Punjab. While speaking about the manifesto Jaitley firmly supported his belief saying that its alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal remains firm. “The alliance with SAD will continue like before and we will further expand developmental activities if given another term in the state,” Jaitley said.

 He also stressed upon the Goods and Implement Tax will play the vital role in BJP’s manifesto. Jaitley spoke about the developmental activities which will foster the growth of the society and people mutually. He said that “we will further expand developmental activities if given another term.” When questioned about the success of the demonetization, Jaitley backed it positively saying that “A good move never fails.” Besides expansion of developmental activities BJP’s manifesto focuses on physical infrastructure, poverty elimination, education and health care.
