New Delhi, Jan 30 : As per the recommendations of Justice Lodha committee, the Supreme Court has constituted a four-member committee of administrators under the chairmanship of former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai.
The other members of the committee are historian Ramchandra Guha, managing director & CEO of Infrastructure Development Finance Company Vikram Limaye and former women's cricket captain Diana Edulji. The apex court has denounced the centre’s plea to appoint secretary of the sports ministry as one of the administrators.
The supreme court also formed a three-member committee comprising of BCCI Joint Secretary Amitabh Choudhary, Treasurer Anirudh Chaudhry and Vikram Limaye which will represent the delegation of BCCI in the forthcoming meeting of International Cricket Council on February 2.
The Supreme Court has directed CEO Rahul Johri to brief Rai committee about the implementation of Lodha Committee recommendations. The move comes after the Lodha Committee recommendations for fine tuning the administrative and organisational reforms in the BCCI.
