New Delhi, January 31: Many countries today have taken objection against Trump’s decision over banning refugees of seven Muslim countries. The protest against Trump’s decision is growing day by day at large scale. But, the world is still quiet on the ban that has been put by sixteen Muslim countries on Israelis. Notably, sixteen countries banned Israelis to travel in their country due to religious differences.
Francois Gautier on Twitter asks about the ban on Israelis by 16 Muslim countries from entering its country. He further asks why the world is silent about the ban on Israelis? He also asked that why the world is working on the policy of double standards or Hypocrisy?
Francois Gautier tweeted saying, “Did you know that 16 Muslim countries have banned Israelis from entering? While is the world silent about it? Double standards? Hypocrisy?”
Interestingly, Sixteen countries forbid admission to Israeli passport holders are Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq (except Iraqi Kurdistan), Kuwait, Lebanon (neighboring country; territory dispute – Shebaa farms), Libya, Malaysia (Clearance permit needed from the Ministry of Home Affairs.), Oman, Pakistan (Clearance permit needed from the Ministry of Internal Security.), Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria (neighboring country; territory dispute – Golan Heights), United Arab Emirates (accepted for transit only; not allowed for admission), Yemen.
In addition, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen do not allow entry to people with evidence of travel to Israel, or whose passports have either a used or an unused Israeli visa. As a consequence, many countries will allow for a second passport to be issued to citizens wishing to circumvent this restriction.
Israel is very peace loving country and also coordinated with the international community to combat terrorism. Therefore the question still persists that, is it right to ban any of the countries on the basis of religious differences.
Meanwhile, Trump in order to make ‘America great again’ signed an executive order on Friday to block refugees from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the US. Syrian refugees were indefinitely banned. According to the executive order passport holders of Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen faced a three-month hold, while refugees from those countries faced a four-month ban. After which Jews who were born in one of seven countries now blacklisted by Trump could face problems if trying to travel to U.S.
