New Delhi, Jan 7: Saluting the spirit of common man after the historic decision of demonetization Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that society has shown its strength of firm resolve for the national interest.
He was addressing the concluding session of BJP’s National Executive meet at NDMC convention canter. On this occasion Union Minister Ravishakar Prasad presented the salient points from the PM Modi’s address.
Hailing the effort of citizens after the night of 8th November, Modi underlined that Common man on the street responded in a positive way in-spite of various adversaries. He further added that people from all walks of life have sent numerous suggestions to the government which shows the unprecedented support for the government’s move.
Slamming opposition parties for distorting the decision of demonetization, PM Modi said that the decision on the night of 8th November has hampered the life styles of many but our government is committed for the welfare of downtrodden.
Hitting hard at the detractors PM Modi said that for many political parties poverty elevation is yet another political rhetoric to seek votes during elections but BJP will not politicise the issues of poverty.
Assuring the better life style for each and every poor in the country Modi underlined that government will provide all the necessary resources for complete eradication of poverty. He reiterated that deprived section of our society has courage and conviction to attain the prosperity through hard work.
He urged party worker to communicate the pro people initiates by central government through various means of communication so as to replicate the policy work of government to each and every corner of the country.
Taking a firm stand on the issue transparency in political regime Modi said that BJP party is in favour of transparent funding and other issue related to the cleansing of stagnant and rigid process.
He also thanked President of India and Supreme Court for their respective positive comments on the election reforms.
Commenting on the upcoming polls in five states modi asked workers to give more emphasis on booth management so as to increase the strike rate in forthcoming elections.
