Bhopal, January 8: Madhya Pradesh government has keenly stepping ahead to promote the meritorious talent. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chahuhan has announced set of cash prizes and awards the merit students will receive which will help them to pursue higher studies.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced that students of Std X and XII are going to get awarded with Shankarshah and Rani Durgawati Awards after securing themselves in the merit class. Also the students who will score excellent in X and receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranks are going to get cash prizes of about Rs.51,000, Rs.31,000 and Rs.21,000 respectively.
This move is taken to encourage good scores and give bright minds to the state who further will aspire to contribute in making nation proud. "The chief minister has clearly given instructions to chalk out a detailed policy to fund higher studies of talented and meritorious students — SCs, STs, backwards and general class — and who can earn laurels for the state and the country. Government will provide them all possible help," said secretariat in the statement.
