New Delhi, November 20: Indian government of PM Modi is the third most trusted government of the world says the world economy forum report. This was calculated on the basis of people’s confidence in their national governments.
Factors influencing whether people trust their governments or not include the state of the economy, political upheaval, and headline-grabbing events like major corruption cases. So India’s recent anti-corruption and tax-reform drive could help explain the high levels of confidence in the government.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda shared the list on his Twitter account, congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the results were evidence that the country is treading in the right direction of development under PM Modi’s leadership.
“Over the past few years, citizens had lost their trust in the government and politicians. The policies and leadership of @narendraModi ji has evoked that trust which is the cornerstone of a democracy. Every Indian is seeing a #NewIndia in the leadership of our Hon'ble PM.” The Minister tweeted.
According to the reports India stands on third position in trusted governments after Switzerland on the first and Indonesia on the second place. The Australian government is least trusted government.
