Mumbai, November 26: Deadliest day that Mumbai experienced in its history was back in the year 2008 where nine years have passed, but the memories of the most dreadful days in the Indian history can never be forgotten. The day when Mumbai witnessed terror attacks by 10 terrorists at prominent spots of the city including CSMT railway station, Leopold Cafe, Oberoi Trident Hotel, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Nariman House and Cama and Albless Hospital, among others.

Saluting the Bravehearts who fought the battle against terrorists and lost their lives, saving many others. The day in the year when 10 heavily-armed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists forced their way into the city of Mumbai and carried out coordinated shooting and bombing.

The city which never stops was shut even after the attack occurred. Recalling the incidence today bring chills down the spine, the attack that shook not only the spirit of Mumbai but the whole world. Though Kasab was hanged the mastermind behind this attack Hafiz Saeed has been set free which is idiotic move taken by the Pakistan government.

President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed warming tributes to the people who lost lives in the attack. Prez Kovind said on the ninth anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, we mourn with the families that lost their dear ones. And we recall with gratitude the security personnel who gave their lives in the battle against evil.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid tributes to the bravehearts and the people who sacrificed their lives during this attack. Ch Fadnavis was accompanied by Governor Vidyasagar Rao. Tributes were also paid at the memorial of assistant sub-inspector Tukaram Ombale at Girgaum Chowpatty. It was at this spot that Ombale caught Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive while getting killed himself.

Ombale, an assistant sub-inspector, was killed by Kasab's bullets in the early hours of 27 November, 2008. In a daring act, he had pounced on Kasab without thinking much about the consequences. His bravery had made it possible for the police to overpower Kasab, the only 26/11 terrorist to be captured and hanged.

People have expressed tributes to the people lost their loved ones and on the other side fiercely reacted to the release of Master mind behind the attack Hafiz Saeed.
