JK govt to regularize as many as 60,000 daily wagers and casual labourers soon

Srinagar, December 13: Our one single and simple decision can bring a smile on the face of family members, likewise, Jammu and Kashmir government’s one decision has brought a smile on the faces of thousand workers. Notably, Jammu and Kashmir government will soon regularize as many as 60,000 daily wagers and casual labourers.

 

As soon as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti announced to regularize 60,000 daily wagers and casual labourers, the string of happiness was spread in the houses of those labourers. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday took a twitter announcing, "Our govt will be regularising 60,000 daily wagers & casual labourers working in various departments in J&K to provide sustainable livelihoods to those who need it the most." "Hard work & dedication must always be recognized & appreciated," she said, in her tweet.


The decision was taken with an aim to provide more of employment to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir so that they would not move in the field of negativity i.e terrorism and stone pelting etc. However, earlier the youth of Jammu and Kashmir has appealed the government to bring more and more employment in the valley.

The youth of Jammu and Kashmir is slowly and steadily are turning to the mainstream and positive sector as they have played a massive role in helping the government to curb terrorism from the valley. Therefore, security forces have eliminated over 200 terrorists in the valley within a year.
