New Delhi, February 1: PM Modi Address’s nation after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented Union Budget in the Parliament. PM said that the Finance Minister has presented an 'Uttam' Budget which devoted to strengthening the hands of the poor. This is a Budget for the future for farmers, underprivileged, transparency, urban rejuvenation, rural development, enterprise. Finance Minister has presented an excellent and historic budget devoted to the well-being of the villages, farmers, poor and the youth. the aim of the Government is to double the income of farmers. Budget has given special attention to women and children which in turn will improve quality of life. Also added that the Housing sector will immensely gain from the Budget, PM Modi said.
PM also said the merger of the Railway Budget with the general budget will give an impetus to the transport sector's growth. He said that the railway budget has focused on railway safety fund. He said this Budget will help small businesses to become competitive in the global market. This Union Budget fulfills every sectors demand and aims to fulfill the aspirations of common man and will lead country towards development, he added.
PM said that the government is commitment to eliminate corruption and black money and all this is being reflected in the Budget. This Budget will help small businesses to become competitive in the global market.
