Srinagar (Dehradun), Feb 12 : Slamming ruling congress party for not taking enough step for the development of the Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that chief minister Harish Rawat does not have any concern with this holy land. He was addressing the election rally in the Garhwal region.
Citing the historical fact during the state re-organisation process Modi mentioned that, congress party was against the formation of a separate state. Referring to the sting operation of Harish Rawat Modi said that the congress party has made dev bhoomi into a loot bhoomi by indulging in various corrupt practices. He blamed state government for betraying the people of Uttarakhand.
He further added that the state government has no plan of action for the safety of women. Commenting on the economic condition of the state, Modi noted that among all the other Himalayan states, Uttarakhand lags behind despite tremendous potential in tourism sector.
Elaborating his action plans for the sectors like medicine and organic farming prime minister Modi assured that, the government will give more emphasise to the keys sectors which are directly linked to the economic growth of the state.
“Uttarakhand has tremendous potential and talent. It even has a rich history. Today, people around the world are seeing the benefits of Yoga” said Modi.
Informing about the various pro people initiatives by central government Modi assured that BJP party will bring transformation in the lives of people of Uttarakhand if voted to power. He urged people to vote against congress party for the overall development of the state.
