Bishnupur, Feb 13 : Expressing a firm resolve about the prospects of Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming polls Union minister and BJP Manipur in-charge Prakash Javdekar said that BJP is heading towards the first ever victory in the state of Manipur. He was speaking at the party meeting at Utlou.
Addressing the party officials Javadekar mentioned that after coming to the power a strict action will be taken against corrupt officials. “BJP government will send the corrupt elements to prison.”said Javadekar.
Accusing congress for the unprecedented graft cases in the region Thounaojam Chaoba who is the convener of the BJP Election Committee has underlined that after attaining full majority in the upcoming polls all scams, including cash for jobs shall be looked into and all guilty persons right from the Chief Minister will be sent to prison.
A 60-member Manipur assembly will go to poll on March 4 and 8 and results would be announced on March 11.
