New Delhi, Feb 15: After the high voltage campaigning for the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh Elections 2017 showing the great enthusiasms for the festival of democracy the voting turnout has touched the mark of 65.5  % till 5 PM.

In the second phase People from all walks of life have exercised their franchise in 67 constituencies across 15 districts with the rise of nearly three per cent from the previous elections in 2012.

In the state of Uttarakhand where the  elections were held in single phase, 68% voter turnout has been recorded till 5 PM. Around 74.20 lakh voters will decide the fate of 628 candidates for 69 assembly constituencies.
