Mumbai, Feb 15: First time breaking his silence over the ongoing mudslinging between BJP and Shiv sena in the wake of high voltage BMC polls BJP president Amit Shah said that Shiv Sena Uddav Thakrey is a victim of "election fever".
In an interview with India Today, BJP chief Amit Shah underlined that, the recent hot pursuit between two parties would not last after the commencement of high stake civic polls in the state of Maharashtra.
When asked about the performance of BJP in Mumbai election where party is fighting the civic elections at its own after snapping of ties with Shiv Sena, Shah confidently said, despite of all negative campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi his party will become victorious in the upcoming polls.
He further added that BJP would get comfortable majority in the prestigious elections of Mumbai Municipal Corporation under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Refuting all the reports of mid-term poll Shah stated that the Maharashtra Government will complete its full tenure without any hurdle.
