Bhopal, February 20: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called upon youths to contribute for making their former school better. CM said that if former student can take one day time in a month for making their school better, its maintenance and teaching, they should associate with this campaign.Shivraj appealed all youths of the state that they should make their former school better by becoming partner with the state government. He said that the State Government wants to make this successful with public participation. Appealing youths, he said that more programme will be framed in this regard.
Also, he appealed to the people of the state that they should take out time once a week and if that is not possible one hour once a month to teach children studying in schools near their homes. He said that the people should link up with atleast one school. He appealed that people should participate to increase the quality of education and also enjoy imparting knowledge.
The Chief Minister said that the 'Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh' campaign is an attempt to connect the education of children with the society. He said that he will also visit one or the other school twice in a month and teach children for one hour.
About 1,90,778 registered persons reached government, primary and middle schools of the state under the 'Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh' progarmme today to teach children and hold an educational dialogue with them. About 2 lakh 457 people had got themselves registered under the programme. This way the percentage of registered persons who reached the school was 95.
