New Delhi, Feb 9: Commenting on the financial health of Air India , Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said that the balance sheet of national passenger carrier has to be restructured in order to improve the business prospects of the same.
Sinha was speaking at the 96th annual function of Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India. Referring to the ongoing business activity sinha asserted that government is working on the plan to transformation the financial status of Air India.
Advocating the steps for fine tuning in the administration of Air India minister underlined that corporate governance and professional management need to be employed in order to get better outcome.
Informing about the steps initiated by the central government Sinha elaborated that the overall transformation of Air India is being done with a combination of steps which have started yielding results. He further added that in this financial year Air India would generate operating profits.
