Mumbai, March 17 : For the first time breaking his silence amidst the speculations of new responsibility at the centre Maharashtra Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis reiterated that, he will complete his tenure as the chief minister of Mahatrshtra and does not have any plan for Delhi.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave 2017 Fadnavis mentioned that he will follow the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party organisations if asked for the same. Calling Prime Minister Modi as the ultimate decision maker Fadnavis said, “We will abide by whatever honourable Prime Minister decides for us”.
Commenting on the status of much awaited GST bill Fadnavis stated that the GST regime will enable the common market for our economy and States will be benefited directly with the successful implementation of GST. “I am confident that GST will roll out by July” said Fadnavis.
When asked about the response of bureaucracy Fadnavis articulated that Bureaucracy plays important role for the development and growth of the state. “Bureaucracy is a horse and we need to ride it”, said Fadnavis.
Taking a jibe at coalition partner Shiv Sena Chief Minister Fadnavis underlined that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpai had forged the alliance with 22 regional so it is very easy to handle one regional party like Shiv Sena.
