Hyderabad, March 19: After its remarkable launch of 104 satellites at one go ISRO has set high standards at global level. Congratulations to ISRO for receiving “Innovative organisation of the year”. ISRO has been moving towards a more innovative and explorative space future.
With the most recent launch of 104 satellites on one move, the India-based space agency Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has broken many records including the record of Russia for launching the most number of satellites into orbit. The single-shot mission of ISRO, which was held on February 15 this year, has made the agency to get a global reorganization in the international space industry. India’s Space Research Organisation (ISRO) last month broke the record of Russia by putting 104 satellites from a single PSLV rocket into an orbit.
Apart from its record-breaking launch, ISRO also has marked history following the success of its two inter-planetary missions like Chandrayan-1 which was India’s first lunar mission and Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) which made India the first country to enter into Martian Orbit in a single attempt. The Chandrayaan-1 was launched on 22nd October 2008, while the Mars Orbiter Mission successfully penetrates Martian orbit on 24th September 2014. The success of Mars mission not only made India the first nation to enter Mars orbit in a single attempt but also marked ISRO as world’s fourth and Asia’s first space agency to reach at Mars successfully.
After creating a number of milestones, now ISRO is swiftly moving towards some other high-end and remarkable space missions like the development of GSLV Mk III which will be used for the launch of heavier satellites, human spaceflight, and development of a reusable launch vehicle, more lunar exploration missions, compelling and long-term interplanetary probes, a solar research mission, and much more. ISRO has made India proud by its mission and now global space agencies are eager to work with ISRO.
