New Delhi, March 21 : Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his agenda of good governance and development Yogi Adityanath, the new Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that PM Modi has emerged as the global statesmen who has revamped the Indian economy.
Yogi Adityanath, while delivering his farewell speech in the parliament also appreciated the efforts of Finance minister Arun Jaitley for the historic GST reform. “India is growing despite note ban and PM Modi’s government has worked for all sections of society without any bias”, said Yogi.
Yogi Adityanath, a five time Member of Parliament representing Gorakhpur constituency since 1998 was sworn in as Uttar Pradesh chief minister on Sunday after the gigantic victory of BJP in the state.
In his short speech Yogi recollected his past memories as the member of the parliament. “In this august house I have learnt a lot, Thanks for everything”, said emotional Yogi Adityanath.
With the cheers of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" Yogi Adityanath received a warm welcome from the members of the BJP on his surprise appearance during the discussion on the finance bill.
Expressing his firm resolve about the overall development of the state Yogi articulated that his government will work for everyone, not specifically for any caste or community. “We will work to make the state free of corruption, and hooliganism. We will present a development model which will prevent distress and migration of youths for jobs,” he said.
Taking a pot shot on Akhilsh Yadav led SP government Adityanath said that despite of all the resources and assistance from central government the state has failed miserably on various fronts. “I will make Uttar Pradesh a corruption free state and will works towards bringing economic growth to the state.” said Adityanath.
Narrating his personal experience as the representative of Gorakhpur Yogi stated that no trader in Gorakhpur paid “goonda tax”, the town did not witness incidents of abduction and there were no communal riots in eastern Uttar Pradesh. He also asserted that his government will replicate the ‘Gorakhpur Model’ in entire Uttar Pradesh.
Along with his Adityanath called on Union Home minister Rajnath singh and Finance minister Arun jaitley, and Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu during his short visit to the national capital.
