Lucknow, March 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that the financial assistance for pilgrims undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage would be Rs. One lakh. Also, The Round the clock power supply will be ensured in the four holy cities of Ayodhya, Mathura, Varanasi and Gorakhpur in order to facilitate scores of pilgrims.

The assistance given by the State Government so far was Rs. 50,000, which has now been hiked to Rs. one lakh as per the decision of the Chief Minister. Keeping in view the problems and hardships faced by pilgrims taking this holy pilgrimage, the Chief Minister has also taken a decision to find a suitable place near Delhi for building of a Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan.

CM has asked official to promptly present a proposal to this effect. This building will not only give several facilities to the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims but also encourage more to undertake the pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, State Power Minister Shrikant Sharma said said his department is committed to providing round the clock power supply in the rest of the state by 2019. He said that the officers of the Power Department have been instructed to rectify existing faults within a fortnight and the old transformers would also be changed.
