PM Narendra Modi dedicates  the longest 1.4 extra dose Cable bridge to the nation

Bharuch, March 7 : Hailing the work of Union Surface transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for the speedy development of 1.4 extra dose cable bridge on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai National Highway Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this bridge will change the developmental dynamics of the bharuch  district.

He was speaking at the inaugural function of the newly constructed Four-Lane extra dosed bridge over the Narmada river which is said to be the longest bridge in the country. He further mentioned that the development journey of the nation is getting new strength through these projects within stipulated timeframe.

Commenting on the various developmental initiatives Modi said that his government is working hard for hassle free transportation facility for common man with proper coordination of road and railway networks.

Acknowledging the joint efforts of central and state government Modi stated that that the conversion of 8 highways into National Highways will boost the infrastructure industry in the state of Gujarat.

Modi further underlined that the people of Bharuch will get lot of relief with the construction of bridge which is considered to be one of the busiest national highways in India.

A 1344 metres long and 22.8 metres wide bridge has been constructed by the Larsen and Turbo in association with the National Highway Authority of India with the project cost of Rs 379 crore.
