Islamabad, March 8 : While addressing the National Assembly, Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan will soon sign an agreement with Switzerland on exchange of information regarding bank accounts.
He informed that after several meetings and rigorous discussion between Pakistani delegates and Swiss authorities, the agreement will be signed on March 21. It will be possible to curb tax evasion money once this agreement is ratified, Dar said.
According to sources, he mentioned that Pakistan has already signed the Multilateral Convention on Tax Matter with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in September, 2016. Pakistan is the 104th member nation to join OECD.
