Washington, March 9 : Keeping in line with the jabbing and tearing apart of Obamacare, President Donald Trump took to twitter to belittle the health care and education reconciliation plan enacted by the preceding U.S. President.
He said that he is proud to support the replacement plan released by the House of Representatives, a plan that was going to be much more understood and popular than the previous one.
Speaking about the new health care bill, Trump said that it will lower costs, expand choices, increase competition and ensure health care access for all Americans.
“We have to remember that Obamacare is collapsing and it is in a bad shape, and were going to take action. There is going to be no slowing down, no waiting and no more excuses by anybody and we will get it done. If we wait two years, it will explode,” Trump said.
Further noting that he was proud to support the replacement plan released by the House of Representatives and encouraged by members of both parties, the President stated that the new plan follows the guidelines he laid out in his congressional address.
Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives said that “The American Health Care Act is a plan to drive down costs, encourage competition, and give every American access to quality, affordable health insurance.”
The patient advocacy groups however have thwarted the plan as being a far cry from plans that were promised by Trump during election campaign.
