#YogiSarkar orders to link all social welfare schemes of state with Centre

Lucknow, April 12: After taking oath Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath has swing in action for welfare measures of people. Now, Chief Minister has directed to link all social welfare schemes run by the state government with the schemes initiated by the centre. He said that a cabinet proposal should be prepared to enhance pension amounts from 500 to one thousand being given to widows, handicapped and old aged people.

Addressing the media persons, Energy Minister Srikant Sharma said, 24 hours power supply at district head quarter, 18 hours in villages and 20 hours at tahsil will be visible on ground level. He said, faulty electricity transformers will be changed within 48 hours instead of 72 hours. In this regard, a MOU will be signed with union government on Friday.

Sharma said that the cabinet also decided to purchase one lakh metric ton potato from farmers at the rate of 487 per quintal. This was decided in the second cabinet meeting headed by Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath on Tuesday.

Earlier to this in first cabinet meeting the government waived off 36 thousand crore farm loans of farmers. Cabinet today decided to waive off electricity surcharges and also announced to facilitate people by making payment in four installments whose bill amount over rupees 10 thousand.

Meanwhile, CAG has been given nod to audit 29 development authorities in state. Dues of cane farmers will be paid within 120 days and current payment be paid within 14 days otherwise mill owners will have to face action.
