Mumbai, April 13 : Refuting all the media reports of joining saffron party senior congress leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Narayan Rane reiterated that he is still in the congress party and such decisions are not taken on the basis of media reports.
Clarifying his stand over the ongoing controversy Rane Said, "There is no proposal or discussion to quit the Congress as yet. When I take such a decision, I will speak out," he mentioned.
Speaking to the media Rane admitted being in Ahmedabad last night but denied reports about his secret meeting with BJP Chief Amit Shah. He further added that he was in the city last night for personal work and it has nothing to with politics.
Briefing about his recent meeting with congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Rane said, “Rahul heard me out but there is no solution to my grievances as yet” said senior leader. He further underlined that no steps have been taken for the revival of state congress.
