Mumbai, April 14: With an objective to promote the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ‘Digital India’, Maharashtra government soon set to launch separate websites for all Municipal Corporations. The separate websites aims to provide civic services on the digital platform and lessen the human intervention.
To boost the digitization, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made an announcement after performing the eBhumipujan of 28 new projects that will be developed under AMRUT Yojana. These projects worth 1622 Crore rupees will focus on developing drinking water facilities and underground drainage system.
Addressing officials and MLAs spread across these 28 locations via video conferencing; Mr. Fadnavis said that these projects will bring in time bound sustainable development. Digitization aims to reduce the human errors and also make the task friendly for humans. The digital platforms will be more accurate and will provide the civic services.
