Bhubaneswar, Apr 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday visited the famous Lingaraj Temple here. Modi was in Odisha to participate in the National Executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which began here on Saturday.
The Prime Minister was received by the priests of the temple. Modi offered prayers at the temple and took a round.
The 54-meter high temple is one of the brightest example of Kalinga style of architecture. The temple premises is spread over 25,000 square feet area.
Earlier he was received in a grand welcome by the people. Tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the people to catch a glimpse of the Modi.
