Bhubaneswar, Apr 16: Exhorting the BJP leaders and workers the Prime Minister asked them to accept the victory with all humility and work with renewed speed and vigour for the welfare of the last man standing in a row thus fulfilling the mission of ‘Antyodaya’ as envisaged by party’s ideologue the late Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

The Prime Minister was delivering his address at the concluding day of the two-day national executive meeting of the BJP held here after a gap of nearly two decades. Party veterans L K Advani and Dr M M Joshi, all the union ministers, chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states, deputy chief ministers, party president Amit Shah and other office-bearers were present.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the Prime Minister unfolded a three-pronged strategy for 21st century India which will have to concentrate on ‘Jan Dhan’, ‘Jal Dhan’ and ‘Van Dhan’.

Jan Dhan will ensure economic development. The country has already 28 crore Jan Dhan accounts with a deposit of Rs 66000 crore. This scheme will ensure socio-economic equity of the common masses, the Prime Minister said. The revenue has gone up from Rs 13 lakh cr to Rs 20 lakh cr in the three years of BJP rule, Gadkari said.

By 2022 when the nation celebrates 75 years of independence, we have developed a new thinking of economic development with our pro-people and pro-active governance, the Prime Minister has said.

Van Dhan is related to development of the tribal people and their progress with forest based economic activities. This, the Prime Minister said, would ensure environment protection, ecology conservation and economic progress of the people in most ethical way.

Jal Dhan is more related to preserving and conserving water resources and developing them for irrigation purposes, the Prime Minister said. More irrigation facilities will provide a better opportunity to the farmers and end their suicides.

The Prime Minister asked the party workers to resolve to make India a strong, happy, prosperous, and leading nation of the world by 2022 where the honest, hardworking citizens will have due honour and place in the society. For this, he asked the party workers to take a long jump, Gadkari said.
