Khalgapur (Karnataka), Apr 21: In a series of train derailments happening across the country, yet another derailment occurred near Khalgapur railway station in Karnataka. The Aurangabad-Hyderabad passenger train derailed between Khalgapur and Bhalki station.
According to reports, there were no casualties, and the passengers were moved to Hyderabad. Senior officials of the Indian Railway and the disaster management department are taking stock of the situation. A high-level enquiry has been ordered by the Indian Railways General Manager.

This accident is the latest in a string of derailments happening arbitrarily across the country. Only in this month, eight coaches of the Rajya Rani express had derailed near Rampur in UP, while 50 people had been injured during the derailment of Mahakaushal Express in UP.
