Chennai, April 21 : In the wake of rising protest against the release of Baahubali 2 a day after the emotional appeal of Baahubali 2 director SS Rajamouli actor Satyaraj has tendered the unconditional apology for his inflammatory comments on Cauvery row.
Satyaraj, who is playing the role of Katappa , expressed his regret to the people of Karnataka for his alleged remarks. He also appealed Pro-Kannada group not to stall the release of the Baahubali 2.
Taking a firm stand on this issue Satyaraj said, “I have got to know that what I had spoken during the Cauvery water crisis has created a lot of tension among the people of Karnataka.” He further asserted for the last 30 years he is working with assistant Shekar who is a kannadiga. He also mentioned that he is not against Kannadiga or Karnataka. Further he reiterated that he will not compromise over the welfare of Tamilians.
Expressing his displeasure over the recent comment of Rajamouli Satyaraj Said, “If any producer or director looks at me as a liability after this controversy, I request them to not cast me in their films”.
