Pune, April 3: To kick the ‘Village Social Transformation Mission’ for 1000 villages Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was talking about bridging gap between cities and villages, while interacting with 150 rural development fellows in Pune.In order to boost the start-up culture in the city of Pune, the Pune Smart City Development Corporation (PSCDC) rolled out another subsidiary, Pune Idea Factory Foundation (PIFF), which will give a single window solution to anything related to startups in the city. The CM Devendra Fadnavis said that he is eager to turn Pune into a startup capital, and this step is a great leap for his dream.
Social Activist including Anna Hajare, Popatrao Pawar, Minister Chandrakant Patil, Pankaja Munde, Girish Bapat, Dilip Kamble, Dadaji Bhuse were also present during the conference. CM urged the fellows and ambassadors to help transform the village and bridge the gap between villages and cities. CM Fadnavis said that, “Only youth can transform nation and more population of youth is our biggest asset. And only communication is the key for achieving this goal.” “Today various schemes are being implemented, our efforts are genuine but we lack integrated approach. Our Govt is integrating all efforts,” he added.
The municipal commissioner of Pune, Kunal Kumar said that after studying the startup ecosystem of several cities they have created this system. The foundation of any smart city is created by boosting the lifestyle, by enhancing infrastructure and services, and by propelling the economy by creating jobs and sustainability. Pune now will be a brand and it will be used as an aggregator than an incubator, experts said. CM Fadnavis said that “work with dedication, make leaders out of villagers, invoke confidence & work such that there's transformation in neighboring villages too.”
