Shimla, Apr 9 : After the spectacular victory of BJP in the four states BJP president Amit Shah will kick start the campaign for Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. Shah is scheduled to visit the Himalayan state on May 3 and 4 where he will take the stock of political situation in the state.

According to state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti, BJP president would interact with MPs, MLAs, and BJP office bearers for fine tuning the poll strategy where assembly election are scheduled in the month of November.

Satpal Singh further informed that a meeting of the party's state executive will be held on April 25, 26 and 27 to finalise the preparations for Shah's visit. Shah will observe the preparations of state unit for the upcoming Shimla Municipal Corporation elections.

The BJP is making all out efforts to improve its performance in n the civic body ahead of the Assembly polls. In 2012 BJP lost Himachal Pradesh assembly election where saffron party got only 26 seats and but swept lok sabha polls of 2014 grabbing all four seats. Congress with the 36 seats formed the government under the leadership of Virbhadra Singh who is facing various graft cases.
