Madame Tussauds welcomes Amarendra Baahubali

Hyderabad, May 2 : The Rebel Star Prabhas, the lead character of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali: The conclusion will be the first South Indian actor to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

The statue of Prabhas, who has played the double role of Amarandra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali in the multi starrer telugu movie has been erected at Madame Tussauds’s Bangkok venue.

Expressing his happiness Prabhas said, "I am really happy to have been selected by Madame Tussauds' and I think this was only possible because of fans. I am grateful for their unconditional love and support.” He also thanked his mentor and director SS Rajamouli for the mega gift of Baahubali Project.

According to report of TOI, Prabhas met the artists last year in Hyderabad where over 350 photographs and measurements were taken to in order to create the statue. The statue features him as his popular character Amarendra Baahubali from Rajamouli's epic drama.
