Nalgonda, May 22 : Hailing the efforts of BJP workers in the state of Telangana, BJP Chief Amit Shah narrated that in coming days BJP will be able to form government in the region. Starting his three day southern outreach programme form Nalgonda district Shah said, “I appeal to the people of Telangana to join the journey of development being led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
Addressing a meeting of the booth-level party workers at Theratpally village Shah asserted that the BJP is the largest political party in the world with 11 crore membership. He further added that he will spread the message of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, to the people of Telangana during his three-day visit. On his arrival Shah visited few houses in the village and interacted with the residents.
Criticizing the approach of state government of TRS party Shah slammed the incumbent government for deliberately derailing the developmental agenda of the Centre. Blaming state machinery for politicising various issues, Shah asserted that Modi government has been working relentlessly for the upliftment of poor, women, dalits, tribals, and students but large section of the society is unaware about these policies.
Narrating one incident during his interaction with the villagers Shah said, “When I visited some of the houses, I found that they do not have toilets in their houses. This is the evident example of failure of state government.”
Tomorrow BJP supremo will address the Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency Convention Workers meeting. Shah will leave for Vijayawada on May 25 for other party functions. On his arrival BJP state president K Laxman, party's floor leader in the Telangana assembly G Kishan Reddy and other leaders welcomed Shah at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
