Landon, May 3 : Taking a firm stand when asked about the much awaited Hollywood entry after the grand success of Baahubali : The conclusion, director SS Rajamouli asserted that he has his own reservations about working in Hollywood.
During a Facebook live chat with BBC, Rajamauli mentioned that Hollywood is all together a different ball game. He further mentioned that he would love to make Indian cinema, Indian stories for the rest of world to see and appreciate like Baahubali. “I want to take my stories and not those stories because I am well versed with my stories." said Rajamouli.

“Baahubali 2” has already grossed $110 million worldwide in five days of release including $88 million in India and nearly $11 million in North America, outstripping the $100 million collected by “Baahubali: The Beginning.”Made with a budget of Rs 250 crore, according to media reports Baahubali: The Conclusion has grossed Rs 600 crore in six days.
Explaining his stand over the allegations of violence in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion by some section of media and reviewers the director said, “Indian epics are full of violence and such stories have shaped India. As filmmakers, I don’t think anyone in India, would tone down violence keeping in mind the censorship.”
Briefing more on the worldwide recognition Producer Shobu Yarlagadda stated that Arka Mediaworks is looking to expand the current film beyond the traditional markets for Indian cinema. “. All our distributors are still on board for the second part. We are looking at Taiwan and Korea. China will be the next big one”, he added.
