New Delhi, May 30: Former Indian opening batsman and one of the major contributor of India’s successful 2011 ICC World Cup, Gautam Gambhir has taken to Twitter once again to show his ardent support to the soldiers of our nation.
Gambhir posted a video titled “Jhijhak ki Patti”, on his Twitter account, in which he shows placards with messages written on them to the spectators. This video is clearly similar to the video posted by the daughter of a martyred Indian solider, Gurmeher Kaur, that went viral for infamous reasons a few months ago.
The ace cricketer invokes the emotions of public by calling for people to keep aside their hesitation and strike up a conversation with any soldier they meet next, asking them to post their selfies with these soldiers on social networking sites. Gambhir, who had earlier been chastised socially for supporting the Indian jawans and condemning the killing of CRPF soldiers, once again showed his strong support for Indian soldiers, ignoring all the criticism and denouncements from so-called liberalists, and leftists.
The video, posted around 16 hours ago, has been liked by more than eight thousand twitteratis. Many people have already started posting their selfies with soldiers.
