Drastic action will be taken against Pakistan for frequent LoC crossing: Rijiju

Guwahati, June 10: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Friday said that a drastic action against Pakistan will be taken by India for repetitive crossing the Line of Control violations. He also added that the security of the newly opened Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu at Dhola-Sadiya will be beefed up.

While addressing the media at the programme held to celebrate three years of BJP rule in Assam, Rijiju said NDA government at the Centre as being committed to the development of the Northeast and that, it was working for the implementation of schemes for the benefit of the region’s people.

Rijiju said “With the goodwill initiative of ‘Sab Ka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government has been trying for all round development of North East”.

The Arunachal Pradesh MP highlighted various projects undertaken by the Centre for the Northeast during the last three years.
