Hyderabad, June 14 : After enthralling the global audience at Transylvania Film Festival, S S Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali : The conclusion is all set for its maiden screening at Moscow International Film Festival. The 39th Moscow international film festival will begin with the special Screening of Baahubali on June 22. Originally produced in Telugu, the film Baahubali: The conclusion was released on 28th April 2017 in Telugu , Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam and received overwhelming response across the globe. The highest grossing Indian film has already completed its 48 days smashing all the records of box office with the worldwide earnings of Rs 1,676 crore where its Hindi version stand at Rs 507.32 crore.
The Moscow International Film Festival is one of the oldest in the world. For the first time it was held in 1935 with Sergei Eisenstein as chairman of the Jury. Over the past 20 years the Festival Jury was headed by the leading world film personalities Richard Gere, Theo Angelopoulos, Margarethe von Trotta, Alan Parker, Gleb Panfilov, Fred Schepisi, Luc Besson, Geraldine Chaplin, Héctor Babenco, Pavel Lungin, Mohsen Makhmalbaf.
