Birmingham, June 15: I'am alive and that's the biggest thing for me. Wearing Indian jersey may not be tough, but wearing it for 17 years needs determination and self-belief said Indian star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh on Thursday.

Asked if he has any regrets ahead of his 300th ODI match, Yuvraj Singh said "I am playing well and would continue for a few more years. As long as I am performing, I would like to play, he added, hinting at his plans for 2019 World Cup.

He added "I don't want to talk about my regrets when I am in a good zone. I am playing well and would continue for a few more years. As long as I am performing, I would like to play. It's not difficult to play for India but sustaining is tough”.

"When things are not going well, people will have a lot of opinions and you need to believe in yourself, it's a matter of time and you can do it again. I don't know whether I am a role model but it's been a big achievement for me to get to 300 games. It's a huge honour," Yuvraj said.

Yuvi is all set to become the fifth Indian to join the 300 ODI club, following greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Md. Azharuddin. The feat itself speaks volumes about the class of the southpaw.
