Washington, June 16: Yoga has always been well practised in India. It has made people try and improvise their ‘asanas’ in which they may not always succeed. Recently, a US-based machine learning oriented fashion company Wearable X has introduced new-age yoga pants that have inbuilt artificial intelligence (AI) to help perfect yoga postures.
The Yoga pant is called ‘NadiX’ which will help people improve their asanas by vibration and it seems to be quite an innovative product that many people may just want to try. ‘NadiX’ yoga pants built in technology that guides you in yoga.
The ‘NadiX’ yoga pants have five sensors sewn in to improve posture for 30 popular yoga poses. The users are alerted by the vibration sensors automatically at their concerned body parts like hips, knees or ankles to practice the correct posture.
Wearable X Company CEO said, "The point of the product isn't to say there is a right and a wrong pose”. She also said that It isn't black and white. This is just about highlighting those micro muscles that you could be thinking about that you don't even know exist.
Recognising that not all yoga practitioners can perform the exact yoga asanas, the sensors can be adjusted based on difficulty. Just like fitness trackers, a smartphone app can adjust the procedure of these sensors just by getting it connected to pants via Bluetooth.
The pants are originally manufactured in Sri Lanka. The pants can be used on a regular basis and are washable in the consistent washing machine after removing a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 90 minutes on a single charge.
In the past, WearableX has developed some out-of-the-box clothing concepts that include vibrating underwear for long-distance lovers to a shirt that uses haptic vibrations so sports fans can feel players' emotions.
