Imphal, June 17: With an aim to get communicate directly with regional people, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh launched ‘Redmine App’. The application will facilitate mobile phone SMS correspondence to the people whose grievances have been recorded at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Meeyamgi Numit and Hill People’s Day.

By using this app Chief Minister’s Secretariat will communicate through SMS with the persons anxious on the action is taken progress of their complaints, registered on these two days. CM informed that he received 115 complaints on the last Meeyamgi Numit held on May 15.

Biren further revealed that from the 115 registered complaints, 15 cases had been resolved and the 25 cases are closed. For the remaining 65 cases, necessary official communications are underway.

The Chief Minister informed that the action taken progress of their complaints will be sent to their mobile numbers through the newly launched App so that the people need not come again to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to enquire about the same.

Biren keeping in a mind that people’s distresses is so numerous contended that the Government would do whatever possible to resolve all these problems.
