Rs 700 cr under ‘Momentum Jharkhand’ already implemented on ground

Ranchi, June 19: The announcement of Momentum Jharkhand last month was seen as an opportunity for the state to combat its poverty. Momentum Jharkhand promises to eradicate the dire situation of the state. Momentum Jharkhand saw 21 projects that would receive monetary help. Out of the Rs 3 lakh crore investment proposals that came during the Momentum Jharkhand investors meet in February, Rs 700 crore have already been implemented on the ground, said Chief Minister Raghubar Das.


 
"MoUs worth Rs 3 lakh crores was signed during the Momentum Jharkhand' meet. Out of which, proposals worth Rs 700 crore have already implemented on the ground," Das said.

Jharkhand has abundance of mineral resources and the government was striving to elevate the state to a new height with proper utilization of the resources, he said expressing confidence that the state would be in the line of developed states of the country in next 3/4 years.

Das further said that 100 youths- both men and women- from each panchayats have been identified and were being trained to expunge the scar of migration. CM’s main motive is to increase the green cover in the state and would plant 2cr trees.
