New Delhi, June 21: Yoga is India's blessing to the world that holds the guarantee of self-acknowledgment and as a science tries to keep the body, brain, and soul in concert. Environment Ministry too performed Yoga to mark International Yoga day.
Taking Yoga the ancient Indian science of health & healing to the world, Environment Ministry too celebrating International Yoga Day with great vigor. Like every year this year also the International Day of Yoga is being celebrated around the world, in a big way.
The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change too practiced Yoga in their office on Wednesday. About one hundred officers and officials participated in International Yoga Day celebrations. Three sessions were arranged for a day, one for senior-level officers, and one for other officials of the Ministry.
A separate session for women was conducted in the Ministry to mark the celebrations. The sessions were conducted by Yoga Gurus, Jairam Motlani and Jamnaprasad Sahu from Shanti Kunj, Haridwar.
Yoga is not just exercise or asanas, Yoga means the union of the individual consciousness or soul with the Universal Consciousness or Spirit. This art is more than 10,000 years old. This way of living that aims towards 'a healthy mind in a healthy body'. 21st June celebrated as international yoga day.
