New Delhi, June 22: National Commission for Minorities chairman Ghayorul Hasan Rizvi said that Indians who support Pakistan and celebrate their sporting achievements should go cross the border.
Rizvi made the remarks while talking to reporter about celebrations in parts of India after Pakistan won Champions Trophy on last Sunday. These are people whose mind and heart are actually in Pakistan; just their bodies are here, so they too should go there. Or better still, they should be deported across the border, he said.
"Some people in India reportedly likened Pakistan's victory to Eid before Eid. I was asked about it. So, I said those who feel happy about Pakistan's victory should go and live there or they can be sent packing for their hearts lie in that country," NCM chairman added.
Notably, Madhya Pradesh cops in Burhanpur arrested 15 people for raising pro-Pakistan slogans and celebrating Pakistan's win in final against India on 18th June. The similar case was reported also from Kerala where 23 persons were charged on a complaint by a BJP leader.
Meanwhile, India had lost to Pak by 180 runs in the final match of the Champions Trophy 2017. After the humiliating loss at the hands of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2017 finals, Indian team had to face abusive comments from the Pakistani fans.
