New Delhi, June 24: Apple’s first batch of iPhone SE, Assembled in India have been launched in select stores across Bengaluru, starting at a price of Rs 27,200 (32GB) and Rs 37,200 (128GB).
The boxes that come with ‘Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in India,’ printed on them will roll-out once clarity regarding GST emerges after 1st July. In Bengaluru, the iPhone SE units are being manufactured by Apple’s partner Wistron Corp.
Just head over to the iPhone section on the Apple India website, and you’ll see that the marked price or MRP of both 32 and 128GB variants is not much cheaper than the price before the assembled in India phones made their debut.
Apple iPhone SE is currently retailing at Rs 21,999 for the 32GB version of the phone on Flipkart. The e-commerce website has a special discount on the iPhone SE, on the original price of Rs 27,200.
