Ahmedabad, June 27 : Ahead of the historic roll out of GST the state of Gujarat is all set for the two day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi starting from June 29. This will be his fourth visit to the poll bound state where Modi will attend the series of programmes in different parts of the state.
Informing about details of Modi’s schedule State BJP In-charge Jitubhai Vaghani in an official release said that on his arrival, PM Modi would first visit Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmadabad, which is celebrating 100 years of its establishment. He will be releasing a commemorative coin and a postal stamp on Shrimad Rajchandra, who is the spiritual guru of Mahatma Gandhi.
After attending the programme at Sabarmati Ashram Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to attend the programme of divyangs organised by state administration. The programme will be held at Race Course area of the city. The local unit of BJP is planning for mega road show to welcome PM Modi.
In the evening, the prime minister would go to Aaji Dam, which will be filled with water from the Narmada river under the Sauni scheme, which is the pet project of PM Narendra Modi. On June 30 Modi will visit Modasa village situated in the tribal dominated district of Aravalli. He will dedicate two water supply projects worth Rs 552 crore followed by public meeting.
For the first time after becoming Prime Minister Modi will address the meeting of youths in the Maninagar area. Maninagar is considered to the stronghold of BJP. During his tenure as the Chief Minister, Modi represented Maninagar assembly segment from 2002-2014.
