Lucknow, June 7: A delegation of the US-India Business Council called on the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his Shastri Bhawan office. Led by Dr. Mukesh Aaghi the delegation openly praised the decisions being taken by the present State Government and pointed out that these decisions will go a long way in development of the state.
The delegates expressed desire to cooperate in education, healthcare, production of world class medical devices like stents, food processing, potable water techniques, technology, tourism and other sectors.
Aaghi said that the Business Council works for encouraging trade between India and the United States of America. He said that in this direction, the business council wanted to extend cooperation with the state in taking forward the development programs rolled out by the state government under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister reciprocated the desire to work together based on policies and objectives of the State Government and said that they are committed to working for the welfare of the poor, exploited, marginalized and the deprived sections of the society and that the government was working in this direction.
Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar, who was present at the meeting apprised the US-India Business Council representatives about the policies and programs of the state government and said that the state government was willing to take the mutual ties forward.
