Lucknow, June 7: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday sought an explanation from ten district Magistrates and Superintendents of Police for not attending to public grievances. The CM has ordered officials to make officials accountable to ensure effective improvement in the law and order situation in the state.
The Chief Minister stated that timely and satisfactory disposal of people's problems was a priority for the state government and that any laxity with regards to this will not be tolerated. The Chief Minister has directed the chief secretary to ask for explanations from these officials and ensure that disposal of received problems of the people are dealt with in the right earnest and disposed of promptly.
He gave these instructions after a review of the public complaints. Finding that many complaints had not been disposed of, the Chief Minister gave these terse instructions. Explanation has been called from DM's of Lucknow, Hardoi, Gautambuddha Nagar, Kanpur City, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Sitapur, Agra, Jaunpur and Kheri.
Similarly the Chief Minister has also called for explanation from SSP's of Lucknow, Hardoi, Gorakhpur, Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Jaunpur, Allahabad, Firozabad and Mainpuri. In a stern message, during the review meeting on law and order with senior officials, he said that no laxity would be tolerated.
