Jaipur, June 9 : Slamming congress party for politicizing the issues of farmers Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Some political parties are trying hard to create a trust deficit between people and their representatives but our government will not pay heed to any type of distractions.
Addressing a public rally in Dudu town Rajnath said that the Congress ruled the nation for most of the period since Independence but failed to address the issues of farmers, on the other hand under the leadership of PM Modi central and state governments of BJP are doing remarkable work.
Remembering the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee government the home minister underlined that Vajpayee government had done excellent job in the direction of making India an economic power and this government is following the same line of public welfare.
Commenting on the ongoing protest of farmers in two states Rajnath reiterated that, farmer community is the largest in the population of country, if the farmer is wealthy, the country's economy will improve. He specifically mentioned that, to improve the life style of farmers in the country Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the decision to focus on doubling the income of farmers by 2022.
Highlighting various schemes of Modi government minister stated that after assuming the office in 2014 BJP government has successfully managed the rising inflation which was skyrocketing during the Congress-led UPA government rule of 10 years. He further assured that the government will not break the trust of people.
