Hyderabad, July 10: In order to curb the drink and driving cases in Hyderabad, a group of youngsters from the city came up with the new application ‘OK Boys’. This application is meant to provide a licensed driver to drive the drunken person home safely.

‘OK Boys’ application enables a person to avoid the risk of driving under the influence of alcohol and face police crackdown for drunken driving.

A person from Hyderabad who has consumed alcohol and wants to drive home safely without any legal issues can use the application and book a driver.

‘OK Boys’ CEO Ravi Kumar Polasa informed, “Our drivers will drive customers in their own cars or bikes and drop them safely to their destination for a small amount. To ensure our customers have a safe and secure journey back to their homes, the travel route will be tracked through GPS tracking devices”.

‘OK Boys’ is not that different from Uber or Ola. It has the same tracking services as Uber or Ola but the unique feature is they drive the client in their own vehicle rather than the ‘OK Boys’ private vehicle.

The CEO stated that the drivers they have are well-trained with a proper legal license to help out persons who have their own vehicles but want to avoid driving on city roads because they had consumed alcohol. The round-the-clock driver service is at present available in the city but very soon will be extended to other parts of the State, he added.
